The VP-Sales and BD will drive revenue growth within three core teams (within their markets). You will utilize strategy, industry knowledge and your natural client relationship skills to show clients the value add that SLT will bring to their growth. You will be responsible for leading the core teams in closing big deals and selling new services based on market trends.
Solution Orientation – The VP Sales & BD must be experienced and well versed in the art of selling both product and service with the gravitas and network of contacts to build C-Level relationships. Must be focused on developing long term relationships to target and build a pipeline of recurring revenue streams. Must be creative and comfortable with consultative and solution selling concepts.

Should be market savvy, have strong industry relationships, and bring a broad perspective and experience that will enable him/her to gain immediate credibility with customers, partners, and the organization.
In conjunction with the Management team, develop a vision and strategic plan for the Sales organization in APAC based on past success, current competitive environment, and future market trends. Advise the Business Development and Innovation functions of APAC market opportunities and facilitate opportunities in the APAC market.
Work in partnership with marketing and production teams to develop and execute sales strategies that achieve aggressive growth targets. Coordinate and lead new product/service line development to ensure a successful launch and broad market penetration. Develop and manage KPIs, sales funnels, sales analysis tools and other reports as necessary to effectively manage performance to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Drive sales activities to achieve or exceed business objectives, sales growth, and profitability targets in India. At the beginning assume full accountability for all sales operations in APAC in collaboration with the leaders of the Service and Marketing functions with a prospect to become a managing director. Partner with global leaders in other functions such as Finance, HR and Legal. Ensure 100% compliance in all aspects of business conducted, internally or externally facing. Ensure the use of relevant tools for direct planning, monitoring, problem-solving and reporting of results against plans and budgets.
People Development Responsibilities:
Define roles and responsibilities, set performance and development goals, motivate and coach a team of direct reports, implement training strategies and sales plans that motivate team execution. Give feedback to all team members on a regular basis and develop talent within the team to ensure effective succession planning and career development.
